A)   BOOK-BANK

 

Central Library Provide book bank facility to students. Every students get two Books under this Scheme for both semester as per schedule announced by the Library. Books will be return immediately after end of Examination.

 

B)   SC AND ST STUDENTS BOOK-BANK

 

Central Library Provide book bank facility to sc. and st.  students. Every students get set Books under this Scheme for both semester. Eligible students may apply for books as per the schedule announced by the Library. Books will be return immediately after end of Examination.

C) OPAC(ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOGUE)

OPAC Facility Provided to all Students. Any one can search Books, journals by Title. Author, and Publication.

D) NPTEL(NATIONAL PROGRAMME ON TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING)

National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) was initiated by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati and Roorkee).In this facility Students can View Video format lecture Tutorials, and different Web Courses

E) DELNET(DEVELOPING LIBRARY NETWORK)

DELNET Facility provided to all students in this facility student can access E-Books, E-Journals, E-Data Base and Inter Library Loan (ILL) Service.

F)   CIRCULATION

i) Students: Central Library Provide two books on Library Circulation Card for Eight Days, Users can renew the books borrowed by them if the same books are not claimed by any other user. Renewal of Books can be done up to 2 times. And five books provide for reading room which will be return on same day.
ii) Faculty Member: : Central Library Provide twenty books for faculty for Each Semester.

G) READING ROOM BOOKS

Central library reading room l remain open from 10.30.to 5.00 pm.on every Working days. And during Examination period Night Library reading facility is provided from 7.00 pm.to 1.00 am.

H)REFERENCE SERVICES

Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. The collection of reference books consisting of encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, data books, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. The viewing facility is available to the students, staff and faculty of the Institute from 10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days.

I)SYLLABUS, QUESTATION PAPERS, E-DATABSE SERVICES

University Syllabus and question papers is available in PDF format in Library. And E-Database Services provided to students.

J) INTERNET FACILITY

Internet Facility provide to the Students. Every students get one hour per day. Students get access On_line Journals, Searching topic for Seminar, project and also scanning facility is available.

K)DEPARTMENT LIBRARY FACILITY

Every department provided Department Library Facility.

L)Library Rules and Instruction

• All the First Year and Direct Second year & ME (First year) Students will get   computerize Library membership card (book Circulation card) for four Years.   On that Card Two Books will be issued for Eight days, Student must return the Books after Eight days. Otherwise fine Rs.1/- will charged per book per day.
• Notice for Permanent book issuing will be display on Library notice board. Every Student gets two book for each semester (Permanent Book.) Students must return these books immediately after the end of per Semester Examination. Otherwise fine of Rs.1/- will be charge.
• Open access facility provided to the all students. Before entering the library, readers should leave their personal belongings, such as bags, personal books outside the stacking section.
• Books or other materials taken from the stacks should not be re-shelved by the readers. Books should be left on the table after use.
• If there is Problem for searching of particular books you can ask the issuing assistant.
• Readers should not mark, cut, mutilate or damage library reading material in any way. If anyone is found, he/she will be charged the full replacement cost of the material.
• Internet Facility is available in Reference Room. Every Students will get one Hour per day for searching education side (e-journals, seminar, project work etc.)
• Reading room books will not be issued out Side the library.
• Night Library facility provided the students before one month from Starting the Examination.
• Personal papers and non-library materials should not be left on tables.
• Readers should maintain peace in the library and should not disturb other users in any way.
• The holder of ID-Card is responsible for any book issued against it as shown by library records.
• The borrowing facility can be freeze in case of misbehavior or misuse of the library.
• Switch off your mobiles while entering the library.

M)Library is under surveillance of CCTV Camera.
