An Alumni meet was organized at Pune on Sunday, May 27, 2007. Dr. Ashok Kolaskar, Former Vice Chancellor, Pune University was the Chief Guest and Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Founder Director of MAEER, Pune was the Guest of Honor. Around 350 students were present for the meet.

In his speech, Dr. Kolaskar said, " We need to teach the students how to learn. Those who learn, how to learn, will go ahead. In today's knowledge society the skills are going to change very fast. You need some place to update your knowledge and skills continuously. Hence you should interact very closely with your parent institute."

Addressing the students, Dr. Karad said, " It is a time to pledge, time to have some commitment to institute itself. Contribute something as Swami Vivekananda's saying that Hands are not made to take, they are also made to give. Also we all pledge to make our Mother India as center for knowledge and peace."
